Akamai, Limelight and EdgeCast To Showcase Managed CDN Solutions At CDN Summit

Default_ConfCarriers, OTT providers, network operators and even large enterprises are increasingly interested in offering their own CDN and other value-added services. On Monday May 14th, the Content Delivery Summit kicks off in NYC with discussions and presentations from telcos, MSOs, ISPs and content delivery networks and suppliers about the infrastructure of content acceleration.

Some of the sessions will feature executives from Akamai (AKAM), Limelight Networks (LLNW) and EdgeCast, as well as customers, presenting their latest managed and licensed CDN deployments.

The presentation will cover the way network operators and MSOs think about delivering video to their subscribers and how a managed CDN platform can also be utilized to better manage the experience for traditional over-the-top (OTT) video services.
